The rescueME EPIRB1 provides peace of mind with an impressive 10 year battery life. The world's most compact EPIRB can always be on hand, as its small size allows it to be easily retained within its quick release bracket or placed in an emergency grab-bag or life raft.
A simple protective tab over the operating keys prevents inadvertent activation, yet allows for easy operation when required. The rescueME EPIRB1 also features two high brightness strobes to maximize visibility in low light conditions.
The retractable antenna provides maximum protection and a reduced outline for stowage. When required the antenna is easily deployed with a gentle pull.

International Customers Please Note: NOAA ( USA ) recommends registration of a 406 MHz Personal Locator Beacon in the country of residence and / or country where the designated emergency contacts reside to avoid a potential language barrier problem. All EPIRBs and 406 MHz Personal Locator Beacons sold by OceanMedix are default programmed by the manufacturer and coded for registration in the United States with NOAA. Please contact OceanMedix with regard to the availability of devices programmed and electronically coded for registration in all other countries, as some restrictions may apply. A PLB or EPIRB once re-programmed / country coded for a country other than the USA may not be returned for a refund.
NOTE: As a PLB or EPIRB is a primary safety devise, it may not be returned for a refund once the box has been opened.
